BLOCK TEACHING (Internship)

Block teaching is a session in which teacher 

trainees have to take lecture in a perticulpa school for certain period of time . During this period trainees get experience to actual classroom conditions and get classroom management training .  This year the block teaching session was for 20days. I had choosen  Shree Katyayani Baneshwar Vidyalaya Kindlem pansulem Canacona Goa for my training . It was a great experience.

SHADOW & It's characteristics

This lesson plan was done to deliver a lesson at Shree Katyayani Baneshwar Vidyalaya Canacona during our internship session. This is a demonstration based lesson. In this lesson I have discussed about Shadow, Necessary conditions to form a shadow and it's Characteristics with few examples.

1. Shadow is always black in colour.
2. Shadow only shows outline or shape of an object but not the details.
3. The size of the shadow increases if the object is moved away from the screen and close to the light and size of the object decreases if the object is brought close to the screen away from the light.

To explain these concepts I made some demonstration and involved students in the demonstration and gave them some worksheets based on the demonstrations to verify whether the students have understood the concepts well. I used RBB to evaluate and to write definitions. 

MOTION  AND TIME

This is a outdoor lesson in which students were taken on the ground to explain the concepts about how speed is related to distance travelled and Time . Initially I took one class to instruct the students n to introduce the topic. There were many activities conducted as cycle race and running to calculate the speed.

In this lesson we basically  discussed about speed and it's units.

For each activity a group of students were provided with the worksheets to note down the distance travelled and the time taken to calculate the speed.

Later to remember the formula I showed students a triangle method.
